I had posted a long time ago when i started this project but im wondering if someone has a part number for longer brake lines for a 72 chevy truck with 4inch lift it seems like the stock ones will be a little short. Thanks for any help

You can take your hoses from the mounts in the frame.Kit`s come with extension brackets that sre easy to make or rig something up.I don`t know a part number.4wd suppliers sell braided 4-6" lift hose kits. But,the one I bought had the wrong end at the axle on the rear.I ordered a longer one from Inline Tube.Know exactly what you need when ordering. The do OEM-spec duplicates. They`ll do custom. But,you need to know exactly what you need different or the guy will be crappy.

I don't have the number but you can buy replacement rubber lines from Napa that are longer than stock. If you want to go that route I would have the parts guy pull the replacement hose then ask him to look thru the hoses for a longer one with the same ends.
Or
go aftermarket. I run Earls brand steel braded hoses. You can get them in many differnt leghts. I bought mine from a local speed shop.

Re: 72 Chevy truck 4 inch lift question on brake lines

I used a 74 K-10 with 4" lift kit from Russell for my 59 since it uses 74 axles that are equivlent to a 4" lift to fit the 59 springs. If I remember right the stock ones are 18" and the ones I got were 22" (braided SS, DOT certified). I called the help line to make sure the fitting would work, they arrived and bolted right in. I think they have kits in 2" length increments. I looked and the kit no is 695730 it has 3 hoses. They list it for 73 up, nothing for 72 but call them they probably have something that will work.
