sas on 97 swb 2wd

i have recently gotin my hands on a 97 chevy swb stepside c1500. the truck is in okay condition. but when i went to pick it up the guy gave me both front and rear axle's off of a 79 chevy k2500. the axle is a corprate blot 14 rear and the front i think is a 10 bolt front. the gears a 3:73. i think but he said they came off of the same truck. he also gave me the trans out of the truck 2. i think it is a 3speed saginaw. the gear selector goes L,1,2,3,R the number on the trans is 3901131. the trans also has i think an np 205 transfercase. is was wanting to do a solid axle swap on the truck. i was just wondering about what the coast would be 2 do it. and any pointers on how to do it. i have done this to a 89 burb and that was pritty easy all i did was cut the hangers and stuff of a doner truck and swap them over. im not to woried about the trans at the moment i just wanna get the axles in. i was gonna pu a thm 400 i had in it and put the tcase from the 3speed on it. and yes the thm 400 is a 4x4 trans its out off a 89 k2500. any help would be greatfuly apreceated
