Help! Cruise/Wiper Lever Broken Inside Harness
My '88 K5 Sildverado has a broken cruise/wiper arm that is busted just beyond where the groove is where it snaps into the harness. I've tried needle nose pliers (won't fit) and my Snap-on picks, all to no avail. Has anyone had this happen to them and figured out a way to get it out? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Since you'll need to repalce it, remove steering wheel and lock plate, then remove the pieces and then replace the handle or entire assembly.

None that I know of.

Update: My son came by and disassembled the column for me. The end of the harness has an access hole in it to push the broken stem out from the back.
