Removing scratches
I just bought a 94 chevy, and like most used trucks, it has scratches here and there, and the passenger bedside is pretty bad. I was wondering what I have to do to get rid of them, and what the cheapest (but not touch up paint pen cheap) way to do this is.

well you can either go out and buy your own buffer, rubbing compounds, and wax and spend a few hours doing it yourself. or you can spend close to $200 to take it to a good detail shop and have them do it. our dealership charges $189+ tax for trucks. it might be a good idea to swing by a detail shop and ask them if all of those scratches will come out before you decide what you want to do.

Thanks, i figured i might be able to save a few bucks by doin it myself, but than again they know what will and won't come out, whereas i have no experience doing this, so i think you made the choice pretty obvious. I thought it would cost way more than that to detail a truck.
