A strange interior gear sound.. Huh?

I sold my great old '88 C2500 a few months ago. Almost 400,000 miles, I knew everything about it....

With my 'new to me' MINT 2005 Yukon XL SLT, ...There is a weird noise somewhere in the front interior. It sounds once in a while,.. and it almost seems it appears after a slight bump in the road (?)....

I heard it about 5 times in a half hour......the other day.

A gear noise. Sort of from an electric motor? I can't make out exactly where it is yet, but it may be low in the cab.

Any thoughts?

Would an 02 have a blend door activator?Mine has been doing for about two years.Sounds like a cell phone buzzing under the dash.

My wife has a 2014 Cadillac CTS and some kind of blend door actuator went out last year. Thank God it was still under warranty because they had to take out the entire dash to fix it! I hope the trucks aren’t that bad. We also have a 2012 Yukon, but no problems with it so far.

On my old 2004, I used to go up just a hair, like 1/8" on the temperature control and it would stop the thumping noise without affecting the temp of the A/C.
