Got the frame cleaned and painted with POR-15 as well as the control arms, center link, and steering box.
I used the RestoMotive 'MetalMask' paint on the control arm bushings, upper balljoint tops, ECE drop spindles, and all the steering parts. It gives a hard, metal-grey finish. Looks good.
The ECE drop springs and the motor towers I had powdercoated stardust silver.
As soon as I get the freakin' idler arm bracket I need, I can assemble the steering.
Comeing along litllte by little.....SC

stupid question

How does the powdercoated finish handle the flexing of the springs, just wondered if it flaked etc.

Cheers

So far, so good.
I keep it covered with a tarp when I'm not working on it.
