project Daisycutter update.....frt suspension

Got the frame cleaned and painted with POR-15 as well as the control arms, center link, and steering box.
I used the RestoMotive 'MetalMask' paint on the control arm bushings, upper balljoint tops, ECE drop spindles, and all the steering parts. It gives a hard, metal-grey finish. Looks good. The ECE drop springs and the motor towers I had powdercoated stardust silver. As soon as I get the freakin' idler arm bracket I need, I can assemble the steering. Comeing along litllte by little.....SC |

Looks really nice!!!!!!!

stupid question
How does the powdercoated finish handle the flexing of the springs, just wondered if it flaked etc.
Cheers Richard |

So far, so good.
I keep it covered with a tarp when I'm not working on it. SC |
