Exterior trim molding

What has everyone used for exterior trim? Wondering how good the aftermarket lmc and brother kits are? Or am I better off cleaning up my oem trim as best I can. Its going in for a fresh coat of paint so would like the trim to look as nice as the paint.

I used the LMC pre-cut kit.

It's been 10 years and it's holding up fine.
