I have a real nice harness for a 2001 Silverado, 5.3/4l60e 4x4, should be the same. Nothing cut, even the impossible to remove neutral safety switch plugs are in tact. $120.

Question, as you are ware I am getting ready to pull my 5.3 and I read this, so removing this is something that I need to be aware of and need to watch out for not to brake it? thanks.

You need to heat up the connectors and then pull them. GM glued them in on the 99-02 for some reason. When I pull them I just use a lighter and put the flame in the NSS for a minute or 2 and them gently pull on the wires while using a flat screwdriver or a small pry tool. Hope that helps.
