Cab-clearance light wiring?

I've been working the last few nights on getting my 85 K20 to have all it's lights working. It had a plow on it, and when the last owner removed the plow lights, he made nothing but the side marker lights and tail lights work. I fixed the headlights, turn signals, etc. All that isn't working is the cab lights on the top of the cab. Where does the wiring for these come down at, and where does it go to? I have looked in a few wiring diagrams, and it's never mentioned. I have no problem running a new circuit if I have to, but I'd like to know where the factory path is before I start tearing into stuff.

The wiring should go down the post between the windshield and door and come out just to the left of the gauge cluster. Should have a factory grommet that fits tight in a hole. Power goes to a pin on the side of the pull out headlight switch. If I recall each light has its own ground that clips to the metal of the cab, you'll have to take off each amber light to see the ground.

As he said. If you look under your dash drivers side there is a grommet with a single wire coming out. If memory serves me correct it is about 3 -4 inches above the actual light switch on the side of the cab under the dash. And yes, each light is individually grounded with a little clip just under the light gasket.

Mine has a single ground lead going from light to light then running down the inside of the "A" PILLAR and connects to the 6 prong grounding gang behind the cluster and the power lead connects to a lead just up the harness from the headlight switch.

Easy way to run the wiring. Also shows the hole under the dash where the wire is supposed to run through.

I know this thread is old. I am needing the dimensions to lay it out. I have seen the diagram further up in this post but I can’t read it. Any help would really be appreciated.
