Re: Race question

Unless he spins on the launch or blows the engine or has a major drive train malfunction......... I don't really think so. The LS1 stock has more horse power and torque than your 5.3. I've got a 2000 Sierra with the 5.3

Re: Race question

uffff well what are the chances on his engine blowing out?, also ive beat him before when he didn't have the nos so how badly am i expected to lose ....... another thing ive noticed that when he races he uses the 1,2,3 on the transmission but i just use D so my question is what is the difference between using Drive or the numbered gears?

This can't be a serious question.

One truck has a bigger motor, cam, headers and bottle (and lighter due to the LS1's alum block)

And the other is bone stock.

So an easy 500+hp (prob closer to 600 if he has any size shot at all) truck vs a 285hp truck.
