here are pics of what the under body brace look like for the 3rd row seat. They come up for sale on the parts board occasionally but it would not be to hard to fab something up for your newer style seat since the holes will not line up with the newer seats

Ok.

A couple more questions.

I picked up this blazer seat for the 3rd row, which I will have redone to try to match the first two rows.

1. Are there any good sources for replacement rubber arm rests? I expect to be able to get the dye that was used to color match the rubber and upholstery.

2. My first 2 full length benches are set up for 2 riders. Can these be converted to accommodate 3 seatbelts - for example in the front - 2 3-point belts and a center lap belt? And probably 3 lap belts for the 2nd row seat.

3. How about a good source for new / after-market seatbelts with lots of color options?

Thx!

Hey Bigowl, let's see more pics of your Suburban. Does your SPID show a custom vinyl seat (A52)? How about those shoulder belts. Are they OE?

Yes, middle seat lap belts can be added. I might have some extras.
If you find a source for arm rest let me know. I am using a '77 folding Blazer third seat. As an experiment I might try and fit 67-72 armrest. Those are being reproduced.

My glove compartment just indicates "Rear Seat". In addition to the cross-member support, I also need to find some brackets that would work with this K5 blazer seat.

I think I could also pick up a 1977 suburban 3rd row seat locally. Would that be easier to work with than this blazer seat? Thx.

The brackets I have are for an earlier square body seat They are all for the same style other than two have round holes ant two have slotted holes. They make the seat sit like this

I was able to find another under body support but will take me a few days to get it out in this heat. I need to make sure the mounting hole threads are good on it but that will fall in the $100 range

I also have a set of 3rd row seat brackets that I am finishing up now but still need to drill holes and weld the nut for seat belt on the rear brackets. I do not think these will bolt up to the square body seats either. You would need a seat from this generation. These brackets are expensive when you find bits and pcs of them to assemble sets and I would need $300 for this set plus shipping

Ok, thanks.

I’d probably be interested in under body support.

Would the K5 blazer seat use original holes or would I need to drill new ones?

If it is a 69-72 k5 seat then yes they use same holes as the 3rd row suburban.
