Replacing cab floor

Is the origonal cab floor welded to the cab supports? I need to replace the drivers side of my floor and am not sure how to do it. Do I need to support the cab some how before I cut out the drivers side of the floor?
Thanks

Thanks guys for the help. I will give this a shot when the weather improves. Right now it is 5 degrees, snow and windy. Colder tomorrow.Think I will stay in except to go to work.

I did the ENTIRE floor, at once, with supports... wasn't that bad either.

you'll see that the sheet metal can be seperated from the supports... and it can be done while on the frame. how bad is your floor?

My floor is only rusted thru on the drivers side near the sill and big hole where the dimmer switch should mount. Thanks for the info.
