chevy v8 rotating valve spring retainer?
 

chevy made a special type of rotating valve spring retainer that enabled the valve to rotate slightly every time it was pressed down .

they were usually used on truck exhuaste valves .

what is the gm part number for these valve spring retainers.

3/8th inch diameter valve stem.

does any of the vendors sell them?

who does?

that part number is a discontinued part number for a 2.4 litre engine......

But it got me headed in the right direction

GM calls them "Rotator, engine valve spring" pn#1404575

Seal Power also markets them.

Seald power calls them "valve roto cap", its part number is RC157S

chevy sells for between 9 and 16 bucks....

sealed power.....about 7 bucks

and free shipping from summit....
