Thanks for the pics! In post #3, the last one; grey extended cab. That pic was taken by ME! I tried to buy this cab and bed from a pull a part yard. I made a deal, un bolted everything; came back with my truck and trailer twice.... They would not move a few cars out of the way to get to this one. They said they would call me when they picked up the row to crush, and put this one aside.... I'm still waiting on the call, that was 7 years ago. I'm actually glad this one fell thru, I would up buying a complete 85 extended cab about a year later.
If I get some time, I will post up pics of a 1 owner 1980 Sport stepside that I found. It has now disappeared after sitting in the same spot for 20 years......... |

quite depressing. ive rescued 4 squares i think i over the past 10 years. one was a old 82 suburban i used to drive by on the way to work in a police impound. figured i would just buy it for parts but it was in nicer shape then the one i was driving. owner said the only reason he didnt scrap it was he forgot it was even there.
these pictures are depressing. theres a lot of good vehicles |
