Stake Pocket dimensions?
 

Can anyone tell me the stake pocket dimensions for a 86 short box? Thinking about relocation the fuel filler to one of them in a flush fit installation.

I don't have a bed that is why I'm asking :)

the front stake pocket doesn't go to the floor, but let me know what dimensions you want and I can measure one up.

I'm talking about the rear stake pocket. Does it not run all the way from the top to the underside of the bed?

Sorry, yes it runs through the bed floor. I measured about 3" x 3.5" with the 3" being the front to back dimension.
I should add that I don't know how much if any the tail light housing takes up of that space

Thanks a bunch for the pics. It was either the stake pockets or the taillights with a hinge. I'll see what is easier. In reality I should have kept with the stock tank location.
