I was thinking to myself. I said self, these two trucks share the same axle perch width. I WONDER if the tow hitch will fit, cause the frame rails are the same width, right? So I mounted the hitch and HOT DAMN, it fit

Did you have the gas tank out for another reason, or was it required for the hitch installation?

I was replacing the fuel line. The gas tank was in place and the hitch works with the tank in place, no need to remove the gas tank.

I know the frame width is (basically) the same, but did some of the bolt holes line up??? Did you drill something out???

One set of holes lined up, but had to drill two new sets.
