66 suburban replacement body panels

I am just about finished with my 67 gmc shortbed so we found another project, Its a 66 suburban thats pretty rust free but has had some lower door and quarter panel/wheel opening damage and the tail gate. they all have been repaired but still look rough, Where are the best places to get repair panels for it. the inner panels are great with no rust. Thanks Fred

I know the door forward are the same as the trucks (outside of the floor area under/behind the seats) so anything available for trucks would work. As for the rest of it, it is very limited. There has been a few posts over the last month talking about a couple vendors but I don't recall who they were.

I was wondering if the right rear lower quarter panel was the same as a fleetside bed?

basically they are the same. there are 2 different lengths of wheel well. make sure which is which. the bottoms of the panels are different as on a pickuo there is just the folded lip. on the panel or suburban you have the inner panel to mate up to. the back corners is where the major difference comes. I do have spare back corners

It has been said on here before that short bed panels can be used to patch the burb panels. I haven't done it yet so I can't say for sure.

The very bottom rear tapers up more and meets with the rolled tail piece under the bumper .the trucks just terminate bluntly . I made one once for my burb by pulling a pattern off my panel.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the help!! I just don't know body parts availability on the 60-66's!
I have spent a lot of time on the 67-72 truck and understand that the suspensions are pretty much the same?
The 67 sits pretty low so this winters plan is to switch the (82 truck) modified front end parts from it to the 66 but not as low.
Then install tubular upper and lower control arms and aftermarket disc brakes and possibly rack and pinion steering on the 67. Then really hit it on the suburban, My wife wants it driveable most of the time I am working on it!!! and since I have a "cargirl" Ex drag race driver for a wife I better do it!
