I know this is an old thread, but I'm bring it back. I finally found someone to repop the stripes. So we started stripping it down for a repaint. Once I get some pics downloaded I'll post em up. This should make my girlfriend happy to get her truck done....lol

I just bought a 93 Pace Truck and brought it home from Tennessee yesterday ,man that truck drives fine with the exception of needing new shocks and the A/C needs charged.Who is doing your stripes and how much are they going to cost ?

Ours are a little on the high side. Next batch will be more reasonable. Dont have a total yet. But if they turn out as good as he says they will, I'll post em up with a price. It's kind of a gamble at this time...

Bringing this thread back from the dead. Truck is back from paint prison (for the second time). I just got done with the cut and buff. I reassembled the truck this weekend. Next is stripe prison and get a new windshield and back window stickers since the first screw up painter screwed them up.

Its odd that yours has a step bumper and mine has no bumper but a roll pan .I wish mine was stock height like yours ,mine has been lowered and the ride sux. I had some paint work done on mine a while back ,mostly just the cab and hood where the clear was peeling .He cleared over the stripes and it looks much better ,not as good as yours though.

I have a shop in Benicia that has duplicated the stripes for me. He wasn't able to find the metallic/reflective ink but they're close and should look good. I have another shop that duplicated the windshield and back window decals perfectly. Thank goodness he has them saved in the computer to make them again. The first paint job I brought home in the dark. I cut it buffed it and backed it out to wash it. At that moment I was peeved. I could see stripes of the sealer all over the truck. I got my money back and found a new painter. I repreped and towed it over to him. This guy did great, he add two extra coats of clear to give me a lot of cutting and buffing space. The pics don't do it any justice, it looks bad a $$

How much was the windshield and rear window decals and would he make another set ?

I'm not sure about now but the first set with setup fees was about $55.00 per. I'm sure he'll do two sets next time and they should be cheaper. I'll let you know soon.

Man, what a cool truck! I'm from Indiana and have always loved these pace trucks and the Camaro that matched.

We approved the proofs and colors for the side and hkod stripes Friday. They're going to print and cut them. They should be installed in a week or two. Hey Flashed, pm your shipping address. I have a surprise for ya...
