Leaf Spring Sliders
I know most of the trucks are either the stock arm style or a race type suspension but I have a lwb GMC with leafs. I was planning to remove all but the main leaf and maybe one more. Then add the sliders and if I need to some other form of traction device sort of like the traction bars for the 55-57 trucks. Do any of you use the sliders on your trucks or other leaf sprung vehicles?

Re: Leaf Spring Sliders
A buddy of mine has an S10 in which we did sliders, mono-leaf and a slidalink set up. It probably makes a honest 450rwhp on the N20 and dead hooks on marginal surfaces.

Re: Leaf Spring Sliders
I have the same set up. All Calvert . Split mono , 9 ways and caltracs with roller bearing sliders . My 60' times vary in the thousandths . I get made when there is a delay on a hot track cause I can get down anything and the radial slick guys cant . I'll have to dig for a picture .

Re: Leaf Spring Sliders
From the way it looks on my truck I would have to mount it flush with the top of my frame rail to get the height I want then gusset it. If I need to lower further I can R&R the front perch as well. There was a video on youtube showing how they work, perfectly...
