As I understand it, that is an unaltered survivor truck too... but I can't find the thread.

What a sweet ride.

Truck currently has 22,000 miles but I saw in a previous post someone said it has Air Cond., it does not. Thats also a picture of the original spare tire thats never been on the ground.

Great looking truck...and what makes the truck culture and this site so cool...a porterbuilt slammed 67 on air ride resto-mod last year...and a bone stock 66 k20 this year... :chevy:

Re: 2013 Truck of the Year (ToTY)

Wow guys ! Im very honored for the recognition you have all given to this truck. Thank you !! SO many great trucks in this contest. My own brother wont even tell me who he voted for but he really liked Flips72's red 1966 and C/10 kings "the Pumpkin" . (I think he is adopted ?) . I read the entire build on buggy5872 1957 Chevy 5700LCF , just incredible. Not trying to single any out, just couldn't find all the build threads, all were very well done and well deserving , like to see Joesjunk' collection some day to. Happy New Years everyone, beers are on me !!:barn:

Real nice truck and that was a chunk of change back then, very few around at that price.

That's what hooked me on the truck, it was well optioned for a K20 . Would have loved to have seen the 1960 K20 he traded in for this truck in 1966. If you notice in this picture on the original owners farm here he kept the 1960 hubcaps to put on this truck since 1966 didn't have hubcaps. I still have those also.

Thanks Woogeroo, yes, this truck still has 100% original paint inside and out, still has a couple original hoses and the plug wires on the 292 also, although a few hose clamps had been changed. Being that this truck is a little harder to steer with the wider tires the steering wheel has the most wear of anything on the truck. Front seat has or was always covered also to protect it.Few more pictures.
