Is that a Longhorn bed, or are you going to 6" out of the frame? I can't tell by the pic. Feel free to use my build thread as reference if you haven't seen it. I have pretty detailed pics of exactly how I made the rear wheels out of stepside fenders.

I'm pretty sure when you measure you'll find you have a 133" wheelbase (if it is a factory C-30 dually). The correct wheelbase for a LWB truck is 127". You will also have to cut about 4" off the end of the frame as well. Its not a bad job though. A Longhorn trucks have a 133" and use a 8 1/2 box, so you can bolt it on directly w/o cutting it.

I bought a set for my '69 C-30 on Ebay for about $20, but you can order them at any NAPA. You can also get them from LMC. They used those lights all the way up to the late 80's on C-30's and some C-20's, so they are easy to find.

Wowwww, time flies when you are having fun! I just realized looking at this thread that it is a month away from 2 years since i got this thing on the road!I put a set of stacks between the bed and cab.Is my dd and runs and drives great! Still hunting for a/c brackets for the 6 cylinder!:metal:

Re: 69 one ton dually flatbed fun!!!!!!!!!!

I will get some updated pics! I put a drop center rear bumper on it as well!! As far as the sound,i never really liked six cylinders, but i am hopelessly addicted now!! Plus it gets around 20 mpg!!! Sooo cool!!! The downside is the power, long as i am towing flat ground it is fine, any grade kills ya! I bet a turbo would help a bunch, hmmmm!!!
