Just bought it Thursday, the guy I bought it from bought it in it's current state for the tcase and trans to fix his own Suburban, he also pulled the electric lock setup. He left the 350 in it which is what I bought it for. Only has 102,xxx miles, overall in very good shape for it's age, other then the fact it hit a Durango. Musta been a hard lick seeing as how far the steering wheel is bent over. I figured I can pull the engine then strip it and sell the parts or maybe sell the whole thing.

The 350 is going into my '84 Trans Am, may not be something even worth messing worth to some but it's my first car, ya'll know the sentimental value thing.

be careful using that engine. i've seen some develop cracks when they are in a hard front end accident like that. i would at least rebuilt it first and get a look inside

Don't say that lol. It was running good when he got it he said, was squriting oil 20' out the front of the busted oil cooler. Where would said crack develop?

i've had two that i found cracks on. thats out of about 20 so odds are in your favor. one had cracks in block where crank attached to flexplate and trans attached. other had a crack just below the drivers side head.that one hit a telco pole and had the radsupport intertwined with all of the accesories so it was a worst case senario, but it is still something i always check when swapping engines. besides a 350 rebuild kit is cheaper than the time it takes me to replace the engine again and gives me the added peace of mind
