Can I Put K1500 Springs In A K3500 For Smoother Ride

I'm looking at a 98 K3500.

It's a GMC, single cab long bed, 5.7 and auto trans.

It is stock ride height, but still rides like a wagon.

Would K1500 springs even fit, and if so, how much ride height would I lose?

Not concerned with loss of towing or hauling capacity, it will be an 'around town' truck.

Thanks

Change the shocks first. I had a couple 1 tons, and didn't ride all that bad. You could also take some leaves out, rather than swap the whole pack. Sometimes getting the spring bolts out can be quite difficult.....

Ok thanks b454rat.

What is a good shock for it?

it wasn't a 1 ton but when I had my other lifted Tahoe I put Tuff Country's on it, and road like was on a cloud. For only $200 for all 4, can't go wrong. Go to Offroaddesign.com for them....
