Question About Factory Air Ride/Level System

'06 Yukon XL Denali pkg.

Something seems to be failing with the air leveling system. It works fine for day to day use, road trips and loaded up with kids and costco supplies. When I put a trailer on, empty flat deck car hauler, it levels out just fine. When I put a car on the trailer the pump comes on but does not go clear up to ride height and after driving a short distance it actually looses height to the point where the safety chains are dragging.

Where should I start?

I have same issue in my 2004 Yukon XL, bags on shocks are done, does fine empty, hook up a loaded trailer and chains are dragging.
So, is there a cheap replacement coil over shock that can save everyone some money?
Arnott's conversion kit is $500

Arnotts $500 conversion.

Yeah its a big nut to crack but they've worked well on our '04 Denali XL for 8 years now. Lots of towing. close to 70k on them. I replaced ours in '08. Factory Delphi units were way more expensive. Do the compressor (more$) at the same time, new o rings with grease.

IIRC they have a lifetime warranty.

Do yourself a big favor and save a rack of cash by swapping in the conversion kit. It's a no brainer really !!!!
