Well dudes got the ole 69er coming down the home stretch here, got the holes cut in the bed for the bigger tires and tubs, got the bed back on for a test fit and gonna finish the brake lines. While I am writing I want to take a minute to publicly thank my buddy Dude for doing all this for me. None of you know but this was a 35 year dream for me in the making and he has made it come true for while I have been here taking care of my father. He is very ill and without dudes help I would have never been able to complete this truck. I just left the hospital and he is very sick and dude has selflessly taken on this project so that I could take care of my dad so thank you very much Alan and whoever helped you in this from the bottom of my heart! Jerry

Got the ole 69er up on the trailer and movin it to the shop to put on the finishing touches. Its lookin pretty good so far, beds not bolted down so the lines arent matching up right now but itll be good when its done. Gonna have to raise the rearend 3/4 inch, its just to low and the rearends gonna smack the bed bottom if I leave it. I dont wanna modify the bed any more than the tubs so itll have to do,:chevy: hope you guys like it so far!!

Well here it is, out of the shop and into the light and ready to come back up to Texas!!! Dude got the bed all done the brakes all bled and shes ready to roll. Thanks for all the help and hard work bud!! Now to get it back to Texas and work on all the stuff I got here waiting on it and to try to get some done to the paint. I have a whole pile of parts here from the steering wheel to the dash pad and lights. Gonna put the stainless headers on it and get the new exhaust put on it sooner or later and get it titled and licensed. It will get here and sit for a while so I can save some more funds and do all the work I have for it then off to the car show with my family, cant wait.:metal::chevy:
