Date coded water heater hose

Was pulling the frontend down on my 86 GMC 3500 yesterday and came across an original water heater hose. February 11th, 1986. I'm quite surprised that an original one was still on there and does anyone still make ribbed and scripted hose?

If you have the build sheet for your truck, it will reference a letter code for each heater hose - I think one of yours is LL.
