They all have different trim and accessories. Some of the trim is real cool looking. Some are 1960 and some are 61

You can become a member of their site and ask them questions. I had a lot of fun with these guys when I posted. You can write in English and someone bilingual will translate for you. There's more Portuguese than Spanish in their dialect. |

You can see how they are trying to model them after the impalas.

What the !!! Ok, so I'm guessing there's no such thing as an automotive design school in Argentina? Whew, who cut the cheese?

Re: 1960 Argentina Chevy truck double cabs trucks
I'm digging the grille guards.
|
Re: 1960 Argentina Chevy truck double cabs trucks
I like the rear bumper guards.

Re: 1960 Argentina Chevy truck double cabs trucks
I've never even seen pictures of one of these before. I like all of them. Funny the early models seem to have Mercury upper quarter panels with either 59 or 60 Chevy passenger car rear trim molded in. What an interesting assortment. Thanks for sharing.

Re: 1960 Argentina Chevy truck double cabs trucks
First thing I thought of was the "family truckster" from the Christmas Vacation movie with Chevy Chase
looks like GM Detroit shipped a bunch of leftover trim stuff from the last decade down to use up on these, and told the designers to just use it up! My son's heading to Argentina for the month of January....I'll tell him to be on the lookout for some of these. He'll get a kick....he used to have a 65 suburban 4x4 |

Any one of those would be a hit at a car show in the States.

I wonder if the speedometer would be in metric or not.
