Any Creative A-Pillar Ideas?

Anyone come up with something different with the A-pillars. Gauges, upholstery, Etc.

Its solid and not really anything you can do with it. I didn't even want to run by BT mic wire under the seals to get it to the roof, I mounted it to the steering column.

I mounted a tach on one of my K/20s many moons ago just because it was the best place to view and I liked it being visible when looking at the truck. As far as going anything different goes, I don't feel they need anything. It's nice that they are as narrow as they are compared to newer stuff that create a huge blind spot. Plus, a truck can get too busy.

My FiL put all kinds of gizmatchies on the truck we inherited, and I've found wires running under the carpet to power speakers and the CB and the trailer brakes. I've been cleaning that up (pulling wires out of everywhere that they aren't needed or used anymore, and running an armored cable for hitch power). I'm trying to upsell a late model seat for the truck. The local Like Kind and Quality (LKQ-used to be Pick Your Part) in Sun Valley, CA will sell a bench seat for $42. Beats the snot out of a repro seat, which all the components are like $900. Given all the rest of the bastardization that has happened to this truck, this would be a mild change. I'll give her a few days to think it over. ;)

I'll leave the A-pillar clear, as I'm going to eventually customize the dash. I don't need a 5" speedo or gas gauge. Lots of room for stuff if those guys are a little smaller.

I totally agree, my 2015 A pillars are so wide, my wife and son have had to tell me when I have not seen a car coming my way because of them.
