Air Compressors

Which one from these two would you get and why? The price is going to be very close to the same so that is not a deciding factor. I am really struggling to make up my mind. Thanks

I would also go with the eaton. It is all cast iron pump where the Quincy has an aluminum head. I have never owned one with aluminum head but never heard good stories.

I looked at eatons when we were shopping, they seem really good, but I don't actually know anyone that has one in a shop.

I'd also recommend looking into champion. we actually have 2 different champion compressors, and they both work great.

I had an Eaton...big 3 phase, 15hp 120 gallon tank.... for a long time until I needed more air....it had a 3 year warranty and the pump wore out just before the 3 years was up....they sent me a brand new pump free of charge....

Single phase, but it does sport a 60 amp breaker for the start up surge

I bought a Eaton compressor a few years ago and I have not had any problems with it at all. Has a 80 gallon tank. Very quiet when running.
