So I'm looking very seriously at acquiring this 1969 Suburban. It has rear air and it's listed on the options sticker as having code C-69 Air Condition Roof MTD. Has anyone ever seen this where it has air with no dash vents?

Yes. Roof mounted was the factory installed air in Suburbans until '71.

'72 first year for front and rear air

Thank you, after some more research, that is what I'm finding. This one has partially fallen down and the plastic is warped. If I get this Suburban, I'm torn on weather I should try and save it, or just remove it.

My 71 had the same thing but most of it was missing and so I took out what was left.
