Wheel clearance prob

5 Attachment(s)
New tires and wheels on my 56' I have light rubbing on the tie rod ends and pitman arm drag link. Back spacing is 4.5" on the wheels, should have been 4"
all I could get in 6 lug. Basically I need thicker spacers, the ones in the pic measure .200 I could use 3/8". Are they available, can't find on the net. I don't see any other option. Pain, I found 1"thick but don't need that much

Baer 2000040. pricey at $65. Measure your center hub hole before you order , these are 3.075

Think I'll take out the 3/16 and add 1" spacers that gives me 13/16 out from where it is, more than enough. The baer is not quite thick enough and the center bore is to small, thanks though.

Do you have enough stud length to double up on your existing spacers? You're wanting 3/8 (.375), doubling yours would be .400 - pretty close. Otherwise you could just make your own using your spacers as a pattern.

Personally, I just spent $255 to get wheels with 1/4" less backspacing to solve the same problem.

Double would do it if they will stay tight. probably work fine

You are going to need longer studs if you go much thicker than that. Or switch to spacers that bolt on that have bolts to bolt the wheel on like the S-10 swap dudes use.
Thinnest of those I have found from a reliable builder is 1-1/4 https://www.uswheeladapters.com/

Baer brake systems has nice looking 1/2 inch spacers https://www.summitracing.com/parts/b...0041/overview/

Longer studs shouldn't be that hard to find.
