AA in paint code

What does that mean? I know I read once what it was but for the life of me can’t find it now. Tried searching just AA and no results, which I found odd, but anyway can someone refresh my memory? My trim tag says 505AA. I know 505 is dark green.

I think. We never got to creating a spread sheet to try and figure the codes out. One day.

Slightly off topic but it would be nice if there was a cross reference from the old paint codes to something modern. I had a heck of a time today getting a quart of 505 green mixed, even though they had it in their chip book. None of the online paint reference sites could provide a code they could use to get the formula either. May just be a NAPA thing, but I even found a sherwin williams code (which is who makes martin senour) and no luck with it either.

That’s actually what I took in there. They finally brought me some chips to look through and find something fairly close. They had it in one of their old books but couldn’t get the formula.

That’s what I had to use to get my 507 paint. The paint books Sherwin Williams had didn’t even have light blue listed as a stock color for 64s.
