New member new Project

Hi all

I'm one month into project, but it's hot down here in Rocky Point! No AC in the shop, so I'm taking it easy.

Did Bell Tech static drop four years ago, when I first aquired it, then got real busy at work and home, now I finally have time to get back into it.

Stripped to bare frame, cleaned and epoxy coated the bottom of the cab. Gonna slam it and bag it and just generally clean up and paint most everything (original colors) and put it back together with stock engine and trans for now until I save more money. Plan to go V8 and automatic in near future.

Will be asking for advice a lot through this project

Thanks in advance,

Rick

I like the idea of the raque and pin steering! How difficult is it to do that setup? Cool project! Keep it up!

Moving along, slow but slow

Got front and rear dropmembers in

Nothing left hanging below frame rails, I am going to put this truck on the pinchwelds.

Now to shave the differential and get it installed and the four links and panhard.

Yeah, I've been doing body and paint for 30 years, but this is my first totally slammed to the rockers project

Got the frame rails flat on the floor, now to body drop .75" to lay pinchwelds

A pic of "THE MAN" .. I drive up there and see him every couple weeks to get stuff

As far as I know my brakes, spindles, and fuel tank haven't come in yet.
Without them I can't complete the rolling chassis.

Got most of the black polyurethane on the frame yesterday and today.

Thanks Nuke

A lot of blood and sweat has gone into it this summer!

And to "Domsan": the truck will get finished unless I die!

I set my date to have it at least running and rolling by Nov 6
