Ford 8.8 axle in the 41-54 trucks
 

Have any of you used the Ford 8.8 axle from the Explorer in the 41-54 pickups? I am looking at one from the mid 90's that has 3.73 Posi and disk brakes but I wonder if the off set pinion will be an issue. It measures 59.5 inches wide from hub to hub. Thanks
