'01 NV4500 in a '95 2500 5spd compatibility ?'s

I have a '95 2500 2wd and found another NV4500 2wd at the pull it from a '01 2500
BUT this one has a Hydro collar and two lines for the T/O bearing, whereas
my '95 only has the external slave to push on the fork.

Will the '01 swap and will I be able to just swap out my slave, fork and bell housing.
OR will I have to fab up all sorts of stuff to make it work?

My orig is leaking pretty badly and not sure how much fluid is actually left since I flushed it last..
This '01 looks to have been rebuilt/taken apart at some point since it was pretty clean, just a bit dusty-dirty and not oil soaked dirty..

I know the shifter tower is different, but don't think that will be any problem like the T/O might be..

Thanks

I know 95 is a bastard year, I wanna say it shares the bell to tranny bolt pattern but uses 96-up gears.

Hhhmmm.. Never heard of a "bastard" year. Just higher granny gear (1st) than the later.
From like 6.34 up to 5.61 in '94ish.
I just know that my truck feels like it's a 3spd with VERY steep Granny 1st and a nice Overdrive 5th on either side..

Anywho, Just need to know if I can swap my throw-out bearing assy to the later "tower" style NV4500, and not be forced to use another hydraulic set-up.

Thanks

Think there are three versions of the 4500. Steep first gear, 92-95 I think, then 96-up. But I’d think hydro off whatever bell you have would work. Don’t think there is a difference on the tranny side of it.

that's what Im hoping. Just a mess under there and my steam cleaner is down right now.
Don't want to drop a slippery 200lb tranny on me.

I contacted Advanced Adapters with no response yet. But hey, I can wait a few days.

Thanks

I and some other members here have bolted a cast iron BH to the NV and run them without the problems associated with hydraulic assist. I'm willing to push the pedal a little harder in exchange for less and easier maintenance.

I wouldn't call it "assist", it's either mechanical linkage or hydraulic. The juice setup has advantages. Either one just needs setup correctly.
