i am having trouble finding a 1969-1972 chevy transfer case mounting bracket
 
me and my dad bought a 1970 chevy blazer 4x4 at an auction and it is missing the mounting bracket for the transfer case on the passenger side, if any one knows where to find one please contact me and give me a phone number.i am 15 years old and cant find one any where.

If it helps any, I believe the same bracket was used into the 70's, so you can expand your search a little more.

Also, I have heard of people who run their truck without the brace, and for street only, it should be fine. However, if you offroad, then the adapter may crack under the weight of the transfer case.

T-case
 
First, it should be NP 205 t-case. If so, go to the parts board and ask. They a fairly common. If it is a Rockwell 221, might be a little more difficult. Parts board... ;)

A Blazer will have a Dana 20 or a 205. The frame mounting bracket is exactly the same for either one.

The bracket for the Rockwell is the same as the 205 bracket, too.
