Rebirth of Clyde

After almost a year in paint and body, Clyde is 98% complete. Well, as far as the painter is concerned, I have tons of reassembly to do!

Re: Rebirth of Clyde
Thanks everyone! I have owned my truck since 1989. Got it as a farm fresh, blown 230/3 speed. Been through many variations and this is the best one and will stay like this.
Now to get the chrome polished and on, rubber matt in side and seats in. Hit a few shows and enjoy. Thanks Norm, next time you in town we will come see ya!! |
Re: Rebirth of Clyde
Even sharper than before.

Re: Rebirth of Clyde
I feel a lot of colors of the newer paint jobs just don't have the authentic vintage look.
Your white is clean, crisp, and still looks period correct. |

Re: Rebirth of Clyde
So I started a build thread. I know, a little bit late ( 30 years)
Anyway, look it over and let me know what you think. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...84#post8338184 |

Honestly it wasnt that expensive imo, I worked for the paint/body guy a few weekends and a long week to drive the cost down some as well as a bunch of the sanding and prep at his direction. I know not all painters will work with customers like mine did, I had recommended about 6/7 new customers to him and two have been completed already. I will share the love with an excellent job to everyone I can! My suggestion is to get into as many clubs as you can and make friends, some might be a painter!! |
