Button snap for windshield antenna broke off

The mating snap portion of the antenna in the windshield of my 83 C20 broke off the windshield. It looks like there was some sort of adhesive holding the little other half of the snap to the windshield. Is there anything I can use to reattach the snap? I like the windshield antenna and do not want an antenna on the fender. Thanks.

I've never tried it, but the adhesive that holds the rear view mirror tab on may work.

Did it break the wires?...if it did you'll need a new windshield

The wires are good. The male part of the snap connection just fell off from the windshield when I removed the antenna rubber/metal attachment which screws on to the firewall. The snap is still "snapped" together, but the both pieces of the snap are inside the antenna connector. There is just a metal disc still stuck to the windshield where the male half of the snap should be stuck to that disc.
I need some type of adhesive to re-attach the male part of the snap which will be electrically conductive. Does anyone know of such a product?

The adhesive for gluing back on the tab of a rear window defrost grid should work for you, as I believe that it is conductive.
