There is a bunch of you guys that have purchased Classic Heartbeat's gas filler grommets. Have you had a chance to install them? If so what do you think about them?

I like it in my hand. I haven't put in on the truck yet. I am using it to look real for my filler neck but my tank is under the bed now. I have to make a bracket to hold the fake filler neck in the hole. Once I do that I'll post a pic of your grommet.

I just stuck a filler neck with cap and used a new grommet.

Thanks for the tip. The old grommet was so bad it just flopped around in there so I figured I'd have to support it.

The old one was ripped. There wasn't anything more to it than you see there. It just flopped around in the hole.

They're pretty tough because it withstood a bit of wrangling during the install. Notice how the Vaseline I had to coat everything with gives it a nice shine.:lol:

I have sold a lot of these grommets. Anyone else got a few pictures of theirs installed? WES
