I need seats BAD... the ones in it are bolted down using 2x4's for spacers :ito: and are not the original ones. I ended up getting it for 550.00:smoke:

Thats funny about the grille. I don't know about much about Salem junkyards, but I know there are a few yards around you. There is Classic Bowtie in Portland that a great gentleman named Mel runs. (He's on the forum) He pretty much only deals in 67 -72 stuff as far as I know. Dan's Classic Chevrolet in Portland has a some used truck stuff and they are a dealer for Classic Industries. There is a guy that advertises occasionally on Craig's List who is Aloha who appears to have quite a collection of trucks but I've never met him. And in Vancouver there is All American wrecking but expect to pay through the nose there and there is another place in Vancouver that is on Craig's List for sheet metal repop parts but I have never dealt with them. I am at least six months away from being ready to replace the seats in my Burban. You probably are needing something sooner. I believe that a pickup seat will bolt right in. There happens to be one up in Kelso on C/L right now for forty bucks.

This one was on ebay. What makes it a super custom? I have a '71k20 with factory tach, tilt, buckets. It is a super custom as well. Vectorit probably knows the answer!

A super custom is the same as a Custom Deluxe Chevy. That's the best you could get in a suburban. No Cheyenne or Serria suburbans

This looks to be a good one. You have got to love Texas trucks. I wonder how far the price will go. The starting point is $5000

No mention of price. Should we start a pool and see who comes closest to the asking price??
My guess is $8500.

That one doesn't look bad. I thought dash A/C wasn't available in '69 only roof A/C.

This one looks very nice and is still for sale at $24k. Is that the general market price for an ambulance in this condition? It seems very high to me though I don't follow that market.

I agree with all your points. The owner bought it at an Arizona auction a year ago for $15,400 which was closer to a fair price or maybe a bit of a bargain IMO. That unit is really a lightly equipped and basic type of ambulance that had industrial use only and most folks that collect these things typically gravitate toward the more higher end products like this one that is very desirable and didn't find a buyer at $27K:
