Heads Casting Numbers
 

My dad called and said he had a set of spare heads laying around the barn. I asked him to get me the casting numbers off of them and this is what he sent me:

83217369 (He said the "8" could possibly be a "3")
GM 12

The trouble is, I can't seem to find out anything based on these numbers. Anybody know how to read these, or point me to somewhere where I can find out about them?

Google says "369" castings are a 76cc chamber head that came on a '90s crate engine.

What did you type into the search engine to get that result?

They aren't vortec heads, correct?

"90's" doesnt mean Vortec. Vortec wasn't available until 1996. Probably TBI heads.
