1972 Chevy Suburban Panel Puzzle

So long story short I bought this suburban and it looked to be in really good condition. bought it, brought it home, was curious as to how much bondo was on it ..alot. Out comes the air tools hammer and chisel and off comes about 1/8th thick chunks :m2: Oh well, the journey starts now. With some research I found the panels I need, with more research I couldn't find the others I also need. Searching through the Interwebz and find out these things are neglected as far as reproduction panels compared to the pick ups! Few bumps in the road, I'm not afraid :google2:
So to cut to the chase what I need for this titanic is to reconstruct the rear wheel wells as far back and forward as possible. Manestruckparts.com is a good source for these burbs. From them I got the following:
http://www.manestruckparts.com/store...Words=suburban -for the driver and passenger side
http://www.manestruckparts.com/store...Words=suburban -for the driver and passenger side
http://www.manestruckparts.com/store...Words=suburban -driver side specific
http://www.manestruckparts.com/store...Words=suburban -passenger side specific

With those pieces I just needed the top portion of the wheel well. GMCPauls.com is another good source. Provided from them:
http://www.gmcpauls.com/bed_patch_panels.htm
on that page its item #180219. It has the 1/8 bead and should be the same radius as its not model specific. Getting that for both the drivers and passengers side.
In addition to my wheel well situation, the passenger front and rear doors has a crease type dent going down the side. I found a repop front passenger door: https://www.a2zvehicleparts.com/prod...hoCBJAQAvD_BwE
For the rear door I'm going to use a front door skin and trim it to the width of the door: https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/19...d=action_crash

That should do it for what i need.. Any knowledge/input as to what panels will work and what wont will be appreciated! I'm sure this has been posted here before but for someone that's in the same boat as me, we'll sail together!:uhmk::uhmk

Lookin' good.

I had to replace the passengers side panel between the door and the wheel well. I used a repop door skin with a rocker panel grafted to the bottom of it and it worked out really well. That is the extent of the patching I had to do so can't help on the rest.

Cool Burb and welcome to the forum. Im really of no help as to the body panels. Lockdoc's suggestion seams very logical though. Great work so far. I really like the look of those wheels and tires you have. Im usually not a fan of the newer wheels but those look right at home.

Thanks! I saw them and immediately had the image in my head, so I had to have them haha. There not over the top like alot of the other wheels out nowadays. And I knew too much wheel would ruin the truck, I think I got it just right.

sorry- we do not sell to the public. I just wasn't sure if you were aware of that part being available.
