Lokar Brake Pedal Attach Problem, the Fix?

1 Attachment(s)
I have a '70 C10 stepside. Had a factory manual 4-speed, just installed a 700R4.

I have a CPP steering column installed, same size as the OEM column. The master cylinder rod end hits the steering column on the top of the column where it should mount to the upper brake pedal arm. Lokar doesn't have a fix.

Anyone out there find a solution for this in the past? Many thanks for the help!

You can't adjust the brake rod toward the fire wall to keep it from hitting it?
Are maybe even buying a shorter rod.

In case anyone else runs into this problem, my fix was to grind the bolt head down. The original bolt is much flatter but doesn’t have enough threads to use the washer. It would probably work without, but I opted for this fix and it gives you much more adjustment. I have an Ididit column and they seem to be a little thicker.
