Fuel filler neck hose diameter
 

Does any one know the factory fuel filler neck diameter and where's a good place to purchase the rubber fuel hose that matches it? TIA

I just got some fuel filler hose from Rock Auto. I have some left over, but I think the bigger size for the square body tank. I got a 90 degree elbow for our size neck and then a reducer bushing, then the bigger straight hose.

For some reason I'm thinking it's 1.25", but I don't want to pull it off until I have the right part to replace it, :D.

I found this place in a search several years ago. I dropped the tank in my '89 to replace the fuel pump and the hose was unusable because it became rock-hard and impossible to work with.

I did the one on my 67 it was 1 3/8" hose ans was seven inches long. Had to order a foot to get it from a local parts house. It took a day to get here. I am assuming you mean this hose?

Unless you are in a hurry, i have some new Gates 1 3/8 gas filler hose (GAT 24702). I can easily send you a long enough piece in a small USPS box.... no charge.
