What was the factory paint color on the 1965 chevy 4-speed transmission and the transfer case?

Yes that was mine also---9.00 dollars in quarters at the car wash ,that color wash away.Now i need to find a new color.

The 4-spd. in my 65 C-20 was not painted any color. It was just plain old cast iron. I have seen some GM 4-spds. painted GM orange, but that seems like more of a GMC thing. I have yet to see that on a Chevy.
