Nice 61!! I used to dislike these double hump hoods and now that I'm getting older they are growing on me ha ha.

For me your good with the red wheels but the silver looks better from the front since you have the silver/chrome grille bumper. Visually from the front all that silver goes together then you have the splash of red on the sides which is cool. I'm sounding like an interior decorator.:lol:

60-61 chevy c10 longbed or k10 longbed is my dream truck. If I can have one more vehicle after my 67 c10 lwb I will get one of these.

If the inserts are original to the hood it's a 1961 Chevy. 1960 and 1961 hoods are the same except for the inserts (and perhaps the center emblem).
