Oh I saw beach/surf casting rig immediately. Throw on wide front tires, BBQ mount outside, hanging hammocks inside, rod holders, and your good to go!

Definitely a personal adventure RV in the rough. I missed out on an '85 K30 with over cab box body (ambulance style) on back that was a formal communications unit for Nevada County CA. It had a slide-out generator mounted behind the rear wheel on one side. No lights like an ambulance would have. I was going to use it for work

Cool! I wonder if it's a Quigley conversion. Not sure who else was still doing conversions at that time. GMs used to be adapted as TerraVans.

Its most likely a Pathfinder. Quigley & Quadravan mostly converted Ferds.

You're probably right about Pathfinder, considering their location is UT and it's a CO vehicle. QuadraVan is Pathfinder. Quigley is in PA but they do plenty of GM Vans these days. A friend's body shop had a FedEx Chevy Quigley Van with a broken frame. I wanted that thing bad to do a frame swap. They didn't want to spend what it took to do that and their policy is to scrap all their old vehicles. They absolutely will not sell any of their trucks, not even w/o title for parts.

I bailed out, the wheels fell off the deal after the seller went ape-chit for me asking questions...damnit, I was looking forward to getting it. I even re scheduled a flight home from New England to Denver instead of Austin.

It's guys like you that make it hard selling vehicles all over the states on the internet with a few pictures and short description. Stop asking questions and just buy the damn thing to make the seller happy. Why should they be hassled with questions on something they no longer want? It's up to the buyer to find out once they've bought it whether the ad had honest information or if they inherited someone elses's crap for more money than it's worth. You are just buying the pictures and getting the vehicle or as described is a total plus. Get it? Now leave poor Howard alone. He just wants to sell the truck, not answer a bunch of questions. You'll get your answers once bought! Duh?

Isn't it? I was amazed, bummed, p.o'd, and confused by that. How paranoid to crush good stuff out of fear of law suit. This is every vehicle, not just damaged ones. If everyone thought like that there would be no such thing as a used vehicle. Besides, that's the reason there things called waivers, written by people of the same occupation as those who have the nerve to hold previous owners responsible for something that happens that is out of their control after the sale. What a waste
