Some real interesting stuff there but even local Kansas guys might have to take a day or two off work to attend unless they have online bidding.

Man, that dude had some issues. LOL Why don't we sell that stuff off while we are alive to see people enjoy them.

About like the friend of mine a couple of miles from the house who has been hording about 20 55/57 Chevy convertibles for the past 40 years. Most are probably in such bad shape now that they are beyond reasonable cost of rebuilding but he would never sell a couple of them so he could finance building one of the nicer ones to be able to drive. With all the other stuff he has it's pretty easy to be able to say that he is more interested in accumulating and having than rebuilding, finishing and driving. He bought the little 51/52 Chevy he had when we were in high school back when he found it about 30 years ago and worked on it about a week and lost interest and i'd bet it sits in the same spot i last saw it 30 years ago. They have no kids so when they are gone either her relatives or his nephew will end up having to figure out what to do with it.
If i ever manage to get my shop up and have spots for my projects all the designated project parts are going on shelves designated for that project and all the accumulated stuff in the sheds is either going to swap meets or to scrap. I think i have around ten panels that go in front of 47/53 radiators to hold the hood latch, some good some not very good. and more stuff like that.

What makes people want to buy stuff and set it in a field? I noticed that there was bullet holes in many of the windshields.

Unfortunately my dad was like that, got some cars and trucks that were going to be is retirement. Let them sit outside in Western Oregon. In 1998 he was forced to sell the property. We had a big sale, he was disappointed that people were not lining up to pay thousands for his cars. The last day of the sale I sold them to a vintage wrecking yard near Junction City Oregon for $175 a piece. he was so mad, but I told him there had been literally hundreds or people there and I had to sell the last day or the County would crush them. We did get a fair price for his 57 GMC bus camper conversion and 62 VW Kombi, plus lots of vintage jeep parts.
