Why? For what purpose?

A good epoxy primer and a top coat of 2K single stage urethane is better and cheaper.

The reason I ask is that lots of folks think bedliner is the cure all... which it is not.

Foot Stomper, Can you recommend a brand of good epoxy primer and a top coat of 2K single stage urethane. I am at this point and was just planning and costing out ideas.

sorry to highjack this thread but may be it will help

Does linex or any other brands offer a tinted or color match option.
I'm afraid that in 10-20 years I'll be trying to chip off the coating but would love to use on my blazer floor.

Any 2K epoxy is as good as the next one in most cases. Same goes for 2K urethane single stage paint. Go see Guy, he'll have some good stuff for sure!

Re: Help

I agree with Foot Stomper. Why bed liner on the inside? It does nothing for heat or noise blocking. Unless you are using it solely as a floor covering instead of carpet. Lizard skin claims to control heat/noise, though I have never tried it.

With that said, I used bedliner on the underside of the cab floor. The primary purpose was to visually hide rust repair weld seams. The underside of my fenders will also get a layer of bed liner over epoxy to add an extra layer of rock protection.

Also, the most common recommended DIY bed liner products are:
SEM Pro-Tex
U-Pol Raptor Liner
