Will this fuel system work?
I'm installing an LQ4 into my '79 C10 with a Holley Terminator X. Are there any issues with this plan?

Also, should I be running a filter between the in-tank pump and the regulator, or between the regulator and the fuel rails, or both?

Re: Will this fuel system work?
yeah, im at work and have limited internet access, so i get blocked from seeing it
im running a fliter between the tank and the pump,my pumps inline, then my reg has a built in filter in your case i think between the reg and the fuel rails would be good enough |

I just came across this diagram on the Aeromotive website. Seems to be what I'm trying to do.

Re: Will this fuel system work?
On my LS swaps I use the C5 FFR. -6 SS lines. They used to be $50-$60. Now they are over $100 for a GM or Wix. That Aeromotive regulator is a bit more expensive but it should never need replacing.
I ran -6/C5 FFR on a LS2 sleeved and stroked to 427 cubes. RWHP 490. Never had fuel issues. I've used Tank's Inc tanks on two LS swaps. I used Walbro 255 pumps supplied by Tanks. Because I'm paranoid I do have a spare 255 pump that I've had for 10 years and never used. Good luck with your swap. |
Re: Will this fuel system work?
Maybe look into a pwm deadhead system. Newer technology with oem parts. Lots of benefeits over a return type system. Overall cost will be about the same. https://www.vaporworx.com/
